Plants flower the first year from seed and produce long blooming clumps even in warmer climates. A fine bush type Delphinium in a mix of flower colours including shades of blue, purple, lavender and white, excellent for cutting.
Primary flower stalk can be removed when spent to encourage lateral stalks.
Grow notes:
Tropical: Autumn
Temperate: Late Summer to Winter.
Cool climate: Late Summer to Mid Autumn or Spring.
Sow: 3mm deep
Best sown direct or sow in trays and transplant when large enough to handle.
Plant in a well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Plant space: 50cm
Germination: 21-28 days
Flowering: 20 weeks
Prefers a rich moist well-drained soil in a sunny position. Regular feeding is recommended.
