A very dark green variety of dill that produces lush leaf volume with short stems and an intense flavour.
The foliage is great and sprinkled on new potatoes, tomatoes, fish, spinach, green beans, cucumbers, and squash.
Dill was used in many traditional medicines, including those against jaundice, headache, boils, lack of appetite, stomach problems, nausea, liver problems, and many other dills. Dill seeds can also be used to prepare herbal tea.
Adaptable to most good garden soils that are well-drained. Prefer full sun but avoid growing in the hottest months.
The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.
Germination: 10 to 21 days.
