An attractive shrub erect in habit with slender arching branches and blue, tubular flowers with expanding lobes over many months of the year.
Bright yellow berries follow the flowers in autumn and winter.
Leaves are oval with serrate edges.

Native to Mexico and Brazil.
Adaptable to a range of climates and conditions. Prefers a rich moist well-drained soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.
Although seed can be sown most of the year in many parts of Australia seed is generally best sown in spring or autumn, avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year. The optimum germination temperature for germination is around 18-22°C
