A very attractive coneflower growing to a height of 75 cm produces a profusion of drooping flowers pale purple-pink in colour.
A low-maintenance, adaptable plant that is tolerant of drought, heat, humidity, and poor soils.

Ideal for mass planting as a meadow or just as spectacular on the border or masses planting. Self-seeds freely if not deadheaded.

A popular medicinal plant the coneflower is used to make Echinacea and other herbal remedies. Most of the plant is used including the leaves, stems, roots, and flowers.
They are used in a wide variety of different natural products made from these plants, some of which are used for the treatment of immune system disorders, bacterial infections, and viral infections. It is believed that Echinacea improves the healing process of skin wounds. It may also control inflammation.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. It is tolerant of drought, heat, humidity, and poor soils.

Grow notes: 

TropicalSpring or Autumn.
Temperate: Spring to Early Summer.
Cool climate: Spring.

Sow: 5mm deep
Sow direct in the growing position for best results. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
