This mixture features some of the biggest blooms available for English daisies up to 5 cm in diametre. Appearing in shades of pink, rose-red and white, the enormous, quilled flowers are held atop short upright leafless stems.
English Daisies have long been popular for spring bedding, particularly in mild winter regions.
Prefers fertile moist soils but is adaptable to most good garden soils. English daisy struggles in extreme heat so is best planted in part shade where summers are hot.
Tropical: Autumn to early winter.
Temperate: Late summer to Late Autumn.
Cold: Late summer to early autumn or Early Spring.
Sow: Sow on surface and firm into soil, cover just enough to hold the seed in place. Keep moist whilst germination occurs.
For best results sow directly into soil where they are to grow.
Germination: 10-14 days at 15-20°C
Plant space: 20-30cm
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
