Eremophila is a genus of around 270 species of plants in the Scrophulariaceae family in mainland Australia.
A 0.2-3 metres high shrub bearing tubular red-pink-orange-yellow flowers with a spotted throat from May to November around 2.5 cm long.
The five petalled flowers occur profusely on long, thin stalks.
Light green soft oval leaves 2.5 cm long.
Occurs naturally in the Carnarvon, Central Kimberley, Coolgardie, Gascoyne, Gibson Desert, Great Sandy Desert, Great Victoria Desert, Hampton, Little Sandy Desert, Mallee,Murchison,Nullarbor, Ord Victoria Plain, Pilbara, Tanami and Yalgoo in Western Australia.
Prefers a medium to heavy soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.

Propagation from the seed of Eremophila species is can be tricky as the seed is small and contained in a woody fruit. One method is to carefully split the fruits into half's and then quarters to exact the seed.
The following method of extracting seeds has been reported as being effective:
