An erect small tree with a smooth white barked stem and erect straggly branches. Pale dull green leaves tapering to a point, ovate yellow flower buds opening to creamy white flowers in spring and summer.
Native to North of Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Prefers well-drained soil in an open sunny position, drought resistant but frost tender.
Although seed can be sown most of the year around if you avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year, the best time to sow is generally spring.
Germination generally occurs in around 10-28 days at a soil temperature of 18-22°C
