Typically grow’s as a mallee shrub or small tree 3-12 metres with a rough grey bark to the branchlets and a pinkie-cream colour above.
White flowers occurs mid spring to late summer.
Grown Extensively in plantations for Eucalyptus Oil production.
Endemic to the Eremaean Province extending into the South-West Province of Western Australia.
Prefers a light well-drained sandy soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.
Best sown in spring or autumn in temperate climates, avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year. The optimum temperature for germination is around 18-22°C
Sow seed in a seed-raising mix just below the surface.
Water with a fine mist spray to avoid disturbance of the seed.
Germination generally occurs in around 10-28 days.
