The smooth bark of this tree sheds in strips during summer and autumn, exposing shades of grey and pink. This eucalyptus can grow in both light and heavy clay soils, and it's a fast-growing tree that thrives in sunny positions.
Occurs naturally in the IBRA Regions of Avon Wheatbelt, Geraldton Sandplains and Swan Coastal Plain in Western Australia.
Prefers sandy loams in an open sunny position, drought and frost-resistant.
Although seed can be sown most of the year around if you avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year, the best time to sow is generally spring.
Germination generally occurs in around 10-28 days at a soil temperature of 18-22°C
