A medium-sized tree that produces frosty grey flower buds that occur in groups of 7 opening to brilliant yellow flowers from winter to summer.
Typically forms an erect, straight stem and branching with a smooth greyish brown bark. The attractive foliage is broadly lanceolate to ovate around 15 cm long.
