A spring flowering favourite Forget-Me-Not Blue ball is a compact rounded plant that produces masses of miniature, sky-blue blossoms with white, yellow, or pink centres from spring to early summer in temperate climates.

Perfect for edging, beds, borders, rock gardens, containers, dainty bouquets and hanging baskets.
Outstanding for massing with spring-blooming bulbs, Self-seeds readily. Myosotis is also a good honeybee plant.

Commonly called the Alpine forget-me-not is a species of flowering plant in the family Boraginaceae.

MYOSOTIS alpestris is the county flower of Westmorland in the United Kingdom and the state flower of Alaska in the United States. It grows well throughout Alaska in open, rocky places high in the mountains, flowering in midsummer. It can also be found throughout the Himalaya range at elevations of 3,000–4,300 metres. Native habitats include moist mountainous areas on wooded slope.s 

Excellent for massing with spring-blooming bulbs, an edging to borders, containers or hanging baskets.

Grow notes:

Tropical: Autumn.
Temperate: Mid-Summer to Late Autumn.
Cold: Early Summer to Mid Autumn.

Sow: 3 mm
Best sown direct
Germination: 21-28 days.
Plant Space: 25cm
Flowering: 10-12 weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for more vigorous plants.

Prefers a rich well-drained soil in a protected partially shaded position, frost resistant but drought tender.
