Tolerates full to part sun and dry to moderate moisture. Honeybees, and other pollinators as well as nectar-feeding birds are attracted to the flowers

Tropical: Autumn & Winter.
Temperate: Late Winter to Early Autumn.
Cool climate: Spring to Late Summer.
Sow: 1mm deep
Sow direct or in trays. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.

Water regularly in dry weather and cut back all spent blooms to prolong flowering.
