A fast growing vine which produces very large fruits up to 20 kg. The fruits are green with waxy coating. The flesh is white with a sweet flavour and can be used in soups, steamed or stir fried. All parts of plant are edible and used medically for thousands of years in Asia. Because of waxy coating it will store for very long time.
Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers a rich soil with generous amount of water in full sun.
