An excellent loose-leaf lettuce that produces tender oak-shaped deep red leaves with a crunchy sweet tasting flavour.
Great for continuous picking, slow to bolt and holds its flavour well during hot weather without turning bitter.
Grow in full sun for deepest colour.
Prefers moist fertile well-drained soil but grows well in almost any garden soil in a sunny position with adequate water. Grow fast with plenty of water and regular feeds of liquid manure to avoid bitterness.
