An easy winter, spring flowering annual plant with masses of small snapdragon-like flowers in white, rose, lilac, yellow, orange and crimson colours. Combine with other low growing annuals in beds or borders. Makes a nice addition to the rock garden.
Adaptable to garden most well drained garden soils in a sunny position. Frost and drought tolerant.
Tropical: Late Summer to Winter.
Temperate: Mid-Summer to Early Winter.
Cool climate: Spring or Autumn.
Sow: 3 deep
Sow direct in the growing position for best results. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
Plant in a well-drained soil in a sunny position.
