Black mustard is the most pungent of all the mustard species, native to the Mediterranean Black mustard oil is also an essential ingredient in Indian cuisine.
Typically cultivated for its seeds, which are commonly used as a spice commonly used in curries or as a general flavouring, although the leaves can be used as leaf vegetable or a salad greens.
