Chirimen Hakarashi is a typical Japanese leafy vegetable that is extremely popular and exceptionally tasty curl leaved mustard with round stalks and curly crisp leaves that are frayed at the edges. The leaves become spicier and hotter as the plant matures.
Young leaves, stalks and flower shoots are used in salad and stir-fry. It is also very popular for salt pickling this vegetable in Japan.
Chirimen Hakarashi is a fast growing vegetable and is ready for harvest 35 days after sowing. Suitable for pots.

Prefers a well composted, well-draining soil in an open sunny position, frost resistant but drought tender.
