A popular Asian salad greens Mizuna is a Japanese mustard with deeply serrated leaves that have mild flavour with a hint of pepper and a crisp texture.
A vigorous grower that can be harvested in 6 weeks yielding around 500gram of leaf per plant. Can also be harvested as baby-leaf microgreens.

The Mizuna varieties are considered to be the mildest of the Mustard Greens.

Best sown directly in growing position. Cover lightly and keep moist.

Prefers moist fertile well-drained soil but grows well in almost any garden soil in a sunny position with adequate water.

Grow fast with plenty of water and regular feeds of liquid manure to avoid bitterness.
