Easy to grow Nigella 'Miss Jekyll Indigo' has beautiful rich indigo flowers which seem to float among the finely cut leaves providing a charming show of bloom during a long season. A good companion plant for roses and Asiatic lilies. Eye catching sown as drifts in borders, or used as a cut flower.
Very useful for bedding and cutting and the seed pods can be dried for winter decoration indoors and the seeds are edible.
Prefers a rich moist well-drained soil in an open sunny position.
Tropical: Late Summer to Early Winter.
Temperate: Late-Summer to Autumn or Spring
Cood: Mid-Summer to Mid-Autumn or Spring.
Sow: 3mm deep.
Sow in trays for best results. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
Plant in a well-drained soil in a sunny position.

Germination: 14-28 days
