An heirloom variety of flat leaved parsley Italian Giant, with its more intensive flavours, is increasingly popular in the kitchen and is indispensable for a huge range of cooked and salad dishes.
An excellent herb to grow in pots on the windowsill virtually all year round.
Excellent pest and disease resistance variety makes it ideal for organic gardeners.
The best time to sow the seed is in Spring after the last frost.
- Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. This will help soften the seed coat and speed up the germination process.
- Plant the seeds in well-draining soil as they prefer moist soil but don’t like to be waterlogged.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep them moist but not wet.
- Position the pots in a warm and bright location, but not in direct sunlight.
- Once the seedlings emerge, you can transplant them into individual pots or your garden
Germination: 10 to 21 days.
