PARSNIP Harris Model - Pastinaca sativa

An heirloom variety with one of the whitest smooth-skinned parsnips available the Harris Model is also one of the easiest to clean as it develops very few side roots. Long thin shape to 30 cm with fine-grained flesh with a superior sweet nutty flavour.
Grow notes:
Adaptable to most garden soils in a sunny position. Avoid deformed roots by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
