This Heirloom Sugar Snap variety produces thick walled pods with tender, sweet and juicy flavourful peas. Pea 'Sugar Ann' produces a prolific crop starting very early in the season.
Sugar Snap peas are very versatile and can be eaten both raw or cooked. Both the pods and peas are edible.
Tropical: Autumn and Winter.
Temperate: Late Summer to late Winter.
Cold: Early Winter to early Spring
Sow: 2cm deep.
Soaking seed overnight prior to sowing helps with the up-take of moisture for germination. Best sown direct in growing position in moist soil.
Germination: 7-10 days.

Row space: 1 metre
Maturity: 10-12 weeks
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
Adaptable to most good garden soils, prefers an open sunny position.
