An erect branching slender stem with lacy leaves divided into needle like segments. Pale yellow silky flowers occur in long terminal clusters 7.5 cm across from July to September.
Native to the South-West Province of Western Australia.
Prefers a light well-drained soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.

Although seed can be sown most of the year in many parts of Australia seed is generally best sown in spring or autumn in temperate climates, avoid the coldest and hottest months of the year. The optimum germination temperature for germination is around 18-22°C for this species.
