An early-maturing pumpkin around 1.5 kilos in weight with excellent eating quality. Uniformly shaped flattened fruits like the "Grey Crown and Long Island Cheese” but with the beige colour of a Buttercup Pumpkin. Fruits have rich orange coloured flesh with a small seed cavity.
Produces on average around 5 fruits on compact semi-bush type vines making it ideal for small spaces. Good keeper.
A very versatile with a great taste that is ideal as a roast or steamed vegetable or as an alternative to pumpkin in pies, roasts or soups.
Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers rich soil with a generous amount of water in full sun.
