A very similar fruit to the Butternut Large with high yielding of highly uniform blocky shape with attractive creamy skin and sweet dark orange flesh and a small seed cavity.
The advantages of this hybrid is the vigour and intermediate resistance to PRSV (A Pumpkin Strain of Papaya ringspot virus) and ZYMV (zucchini yellow mosaic virus) and a partial resistance to etch.

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers a rich soil with generous amount of water in full sun.

Sow: 2cm deep
Sow 3-4 seeds in raised mounds 1 metre apart in direct in growing position. Thin to to the stwo strongest plants in each mound.

Germination: 6-10 days
Maturity: 14 weeks
