Originates from Waltham Massachusetts in the USA.
Pear-shaped fruits with pale skin and flesh growing up to 2kg with a small seed cavity. Delicious as a roast or steamed vegetable or as an alternative to pumpkin in pies, roasts, a perfect variety for pumpkin soup.
Stores well.
