Giant Pumpkins, also known as the "King of All Pumpkins," are a popular choice for growing as kids love them. These pumpkins are grown for competitions in many countries, with the world record being over 750kg (1600lbs).
Once the fruit has been set, it's recommended to select the strongest fruit and prune off the rest.

These pumpkins can be grown in most good garden soils, but they prefer rich soil with a generous amount of water and full sun. So, make sure to provide them with adequate water and sunlight to help them grow to their fullest potential.

To plant the seeds, make raised mounds in the growing area and sow 3-4 seeds per mound, ensuring that the seeds are 2cm deep.

Keep a distance of 1 metre between each mound. Once the seeds germinate in 6-10 days, thin out the weaker plants and retain the two strongest ones in each mound.

The best time to plant is in spring to early summer for temperate climates and mid-spring to early summer for cool climates. However, if you're in a tropical region, you can sow the seeds all year round.
