A larger variety of the Australian Jarrahdale pumpkin that grows to 4-6.5kg with drum shaped fruit, heavy rounded ribs and grey skin.
The medium-sweet, nutty, stringless, thick orange flesh is of very good quality.
One of the best keeping pumpkins if stored in good conditions. It is a most appealing pumpkin for decoration and used for food.

Grow notes:

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers rich soil with a generous amount of water in full sun.

Sow: 2cm deep
Sow 3-4 seeds in raised mounds 1 metre apart indirect in the growing position. Thin to the two strongest plants in each mound.
