A very old Italian heirloom variety which grows up to 2-5 kg with a unique thick knobby grey-green skin.

The yellow-orange flesh is sweet and firm. Great for baking and soups. An excellent keeper pumpkin.

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers a rich soil with generous amount of water in full sun.
