An heirloom pumpkin that is an excellent variety for baking. Fruit is sweet and dark orange, with pumpkins weighing 2.7 kg (6 lbs) and 25-20 cm (6-8”) in diameter.
They can also be used for painting or carving and the seeds can be baked for tasty snacks.

Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers a rich soil with generous amount of water in full sun.

Sow: 2cm deep
Sow 3-4 seeds in raised mounds 1 metre apart in direct in growing position. Thin to to the stwo strongest plants in each mound.
