A hardy perennial with tall straight stems and golden yellow globe-shaped flowers that occur continuously during spring and summer.
An excellent dried flower that adds colour to any cut flower arrangement.
Previously known as Craspedia globosus.

Drought tolerant but prefers moist, well-drained soil, in a sunny to part shade. Tolerates frost and coastal conditions.

Endemic to News South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia.

Scatter directly in the growing position or sow in trays and cover lightly with fine soil or seed-raising mix

If sowing in trays, transplant when large enough to handle.
Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny position.

Please note:

  • Please do not be too hasty to discard seeds that do not germinate; seeds will often lie dormant until the conditions are like their natural germination requirements.
  • As with all seeds, they must have adequate water to germinate, keep them moist, but not too wet.
  • These growth notes are provided as guidance only and do not guarantee successful germination.

The customer should do their due diligence to ensure they are suited to their region.
