A less known Australian native everlasting annual daisy that is found in various regions of the Northwest of Western Australia, including Carnarvon, Gascoyne, Geraldton Sandplains, Gibson Desert, Great Sandy Desert, Great Victoria Desert, Little Sandy Desert, Murchison, Pilbara, and Yalgoo.
The plant produces large, clustered heads of yellow, papery flowers that bloom in late winter and continue into early spring. Spot flowers can also appear at other times. This variety is ideal for creating wildflower meadows, and the plant itself is very attractive with its compact upright habit and grey-green foliage.
Prefers a well-drained soil in an open sunny position.
Sow the seed in autumn or Winter. after the first rains. It is best to sow seed by scattering over a weed-free area and racking over very lightly. It is not critical to cover all the seeds.
Germination: 5-10 days after the first rains.
For mass planting sow 1 gram per square metre
