This classic yellow Swiss Chard has deep golden stalks with jade-green, slightly crumpled leaves.
Growing 40-60 cm (16-24”) tall Golden Sunrise is quite a frost tolerant and wonderfully flavourful.
Add to salads as baby leaves in 28 days or wait for full-sized rich golden bunches at maturity. Chard is a healthy, easy-to-grow alternative to spinach which is more tolerant of heat.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils, prefers an open sunny position.

Sow: 10mm deep.
Sow direct or in trays of a quality seed raising mix and transplant when 5-6cm tall.
Germination: 6-7 days.

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants. Pick leaves continuously to promote new growth.
