STATICE Twilight

Statice has been cultivated since the mid-17th century as a garden flower, but also as an herb which was used for the treatment of dysentery as well as other ailments. Statice produces its flowers in the brightly coloured bracts which grow atop the stiff angular stems. Twilight produces lilac - lavender blooms throughout spring and summer. Ideal bedding plant and useful for cut or dried flowers.
