Beautifully perfumed flowers in mid blue shades. Invaluable bedding plant with dense showy spikes of sweet scented flowers.
Justifiably popular for beds, borders, cut flowers and they also make magnificent plants for winter flowering in a greenhouse.
Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils in a sunny position. Prefers a rich loose soil but will tolerate dry poor soils.
Tropical: Autumn.
Temperate: Mid-summer to Autumn.
Cold: Mid-summer to Autumn.
Sow: 3mm deep.
Sow direct or in trays transplant when 5 cm high, avoid excessive root disturbance.
Germination: 10-14 days.

Flowering: 20 weeks
