This cheerful sunflower is considered one of the best for cut flowers and is easily grown in a warm, sheltered spot.
Due to its long vase life, and dark yellow petals surrounded by chocolate-coloured centre discs the flowers are popular with florists.
Grow notes:
Tropical: Year-round
Sub-tropical: Spring to summer
Temperate: Spring to summer
Cold: Late spring to mid-summer.
Sow: Sow 2cm (¾”) deep direct into the flowering position.
Germination: 7-14 days
