Possibly the sweetest variety of sweet corn "Max" produces medium to large, extremely juicy cobs around 20cm long with an excellent flavour.

A tasty variety of well suited for corn on the cob, simply add butter, salt and pepper.

This seed has been treatment with the fungicide Thiram, Carboxin and Metalaxy allowing it to be shipped to all Australian states.

Growing Instructions 

TropicalLate Summer to Late Spring
Temperate: Spring to Early Summer
Cool climate: Mid Spring to Early Summer

Sow: 5cm deep
For best results sow direct in growing position.
Plant space: 20-30cm
Row Space: 50-60cm
Germination: 7-10 days
Maturity: 12-15 weeks

Corn seeds grow best when they are directly sown into the garden.
To sow the seeds correctly, make a hole in the soil about 15-25 mm deep and keep 20-30 cm apart. The rows should be 50-90 cm apart. It is important to keep the soil moist but not too wet or too dry.

The seeds should germinate in around 5-14 days when the soil temperature is between 16-35°C.
