Dwarf bushy plants are covered with masses of a large, brightly coloured mix of fragrant flowers carried on Short, strong stems. It is one of the best flowers for fragrance.
Plants are early blooming, heat resistant and require no staking.
Use in borders, window boxes and other containers.
Traditionally, the 17th of March, St Patrick's Day, is used to guide sowing sweet peas in many parts of Australia.
Sweet Pea’s are best sown directly I the growing position.
Soak the seed 24 hrs in water.
Sow seed 25mm deep.
- Cool climates: September to October or January to April.
- Temperate: January to April.
- Sub-tropical: March to May.
- Tropical: February to May.
- Arid climates: February to May.
Germination typically takes 14-21 days at 13-18°C
