Spring Sunshine™ is a new breed of early flowering Sweet Peas that produces mid-sized flowers in a spectacular deep maroon colour.
One of the best early flowers Sweet Peas with a uniform colour and long stems.

Adaptable to most well-drained garden soils but does best in a rich friable soil that drains well. Avoid waterlogged soils.
Soak seed in water overnight prior to sowing.

Pre-treatment: Soak seed in water overnight.

Sow: 25 mm deep.

Tropical climates: Late summer Autumn
Sub-tropical climates: Autumn
Temperate climates: Autumn
Cold climates: Spring or Late summer-mid Autumn.

Germination: 10-14 days.  

Seed can also be started by soaking seed overnight and placing on a moist paper towel and folding over. Put the paper towel with the seed in a plastic bag and place on top of the refrigerator. Check daily for moisture content and any seed that has germinated. Seed should start to germination in 3-5 days after which they can be sown at the required depth.
