TOMATO Mortgage Lifter Yellow (Heirloom)

This large, smooth, beefsteak variety of tomato with very meaty yellow fruits with few seeds with a delicious, rich, sweet flavour and low in acidity.
An heirloom variety of tomato developed in the 1930's by a gardener who crossed his four biggest varieties for 6 years and selected the best one which he named "Mortgage Lifter".

Grow notes:

Adaptable to most soils but produces the best fruit in a deep free-draining soil with consistent moisture in a sunny position. Protect from strong winds, support with stakes when required.

Cool climate: Spring

Sow: 6mm deep
For best results grow in seed raising trays of a quality seed raising mix. Keep warm and moist. Transplant when 5-7cm high.
