Moss verbena is a more delicate plant than its vigorous hybrid cousins, so it is best planted at the front of a mixed border or in a container. An aromatic plant with finely cut foliage that is topped with loose billows of flowers in shades of lilac blue.
Tropical: Late Summer to Early Spring.
Temperate: Spring or Late-Summer and Autumn.
Cold: Spring to Early Summer.
Sow: 6mm deep.
For best results sow directly into soil where they are to grow. If growing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoid excessive root disturbance.
Germination: 10-14 days.
Plant Space: 30cm
Flowering: 10 weeks
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
