Vitamin green is a distinct variety of non-heading Chinese cabbage. It looks very like a smaller Swiss chard. The leaves are dark green, and grow in an upright bunch. Leaves are tender and flavourful.
Vitamin greens can be used in stir-fries and salads, or steamed. They are excellent if stir-fried with garlic and onion. One of the best Asian greens.
Adaptable to most good garden soils, prefers an open sunny position.

Sow: 6mm deep
For best results grow in seed raising trays of a quality seed raising mix. Keep warm and moist. Transplant when 5-7cm high.
