Large Dahlia flowered blooms in a brilliant, scarlet-red colour on strong, tall plants. It blooms freely, is ideal for mass plantings and is a superb cut flower. Zinnias are one of the easiest annuals to grow and are perfect for cut flowers.
An outstanding variety in beds, borders, and containers.
Zinnia is a warm-season plant and is best grown in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
- Best sown 6 mm directly where they are to grow.
- If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle.
- If mass planting as a meadow scatter seeds and rake over.
Tropical: Winter to Late Summer.
Temperate: Spring & Early Summer.
Cool climate: Spring and early Summer.
Germination: 7-14 days at a soil temperature of 20-24°C
