'Persian Carpet' is a dwarf variety of zinnia with a compact and spreading habit in range of bicolour and tricolours. An outstanding bedding plant prized for its profuse display of stunning summer flowers.
Zinnias are one of the easiest annuals to grow and are suitable for bedding, borders and containers. Popular cut flower for floral arrangements or vases.

Grow notes:

TropicalWinter to Late Summer.
Temperate: Spring & Early Summer.
Cool climate: Spring & Early Summer.

Sow: 6 mm deep
Sow direct in the growing position or in trays. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle avoiding excessive root disturbance.
Plant in a well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Plant space: 30 cm
Germination: 14-21 days

Flowering: 12 Weeks

Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.

Zinnia is a warm-season plant and is best grown in well-drained soil in a sunny position.

  1. Best sown 6 mm directly where they are to grow.
  2. If sowing in trays transplant when large enough to handle.
  3. If mass planting as a meadow scatter seeds and rake over.

Tropical: Winter to Late Summer.
Temperate: Spring & Early Summer.
Cool climate: Spring and early Summer.

Germination: 7-14 days at a soil temperature of 20-24°C
