UC 157 is the world's most widely planted fresh market asparagus variety.
F2 is the second generation hybrid produced from the original UC 157. This variety shows earliness in production, multi-spear initiation (3-5 at a time), uniformity in colour & size, and heavier yields than other varieties.
Prefers a well composted moist well-drained soils in an open sunny position. Frost resistant but drought tender.

Sow: 30mm deep.
For best results sow directly into soil where they are to grow.
