Most counties now require a Phytosanitary Certificate to import seed.
Countries requiring a Phytosanitary Certificate include but are not limited to:

  • The European Union.
  • The United kingdom.
  • Japan.
  • China.
  • Korea. Customers do not require a certificate providing each species purchased does not exceed 100g
  • USA. Requires only a small seed lot permit which is free from the USDA but does requires a Phytosanitary Certificate for large bulk consignments.
  • New Zealand. Generally do not require a Phytosanitary Certificate but some restrictions do apply. Addition help can be found on the MICOR website or the New Zealand Plants Biosecurity Index
