An heirloom variety from Eastern Europe which produces 10 cm long, 50 cm wide tapered to a point with a sweet flavour. Fruits turn from pale yellow, to orange, to red when mature. Harvest 50 -80 days
Adaptable to most garden soils but prefers a well-drained, well fed soil in a sunny position. Annual in temperate climates perennial in the tropics.
Capsicums require warmth for germination, if starting early provide warmth.

Sow: 6mm deep.
Grow in trays of a good seed raising mix and transplant when 6-7cm tall.
