This heirloom 19th-century variety originated in Paris and can be harvested in just 55 days. The carrots are small and round, with a deep orange colour and delicious taste. It is best to harvest them while they are still young and tender for optimal flavour, as they have a wonderfully sweet and creamy texture. These carrots are perfect for cooking and easy to grow, making them an excellent pot choice. However, it is essential to note that this variety is unsuitable for long-term storage.
Carrots grow best in full sun but tolerate some shade. Avoid deformed carrots by planting them in loose soil free from stones or rocks.
