This old heirloom annual flower Court Jester marigold produces unusual stunning yellow and burgundy striped single blooms on long stems making then a real eye catcher. Use in containers, borders or a companion plant in the vegetable garden. Makes a great cut flower.
Adaptable to most garden soils in an open sunny position.
Grow notes:
Tropical: All Seasons
Temperate: Spring, Summer and Autumn
Cold: Spring and Summer
Sow: Sow 5-6mm deep.
Sow direct or in trays of a quality seed raising mix and transplant when when 6cm tall.
Germination: 10-14 days
Plant space: 30cm
Flowering: 12 weeks
Remove spent flowers to encourage dense growth and new flowers.
Feed with a soluble fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants.
