An early-maturing pumpkin around 1.5 kilos in weight with excellent eating quality. Uniformly shaped flattened fruits like the "Grey Crown and Long Island Cheese” but with the beige colour of a Buttercup Pumpkin. Fruits have rich, orange-coloured flesh with a small seed cavity.
It produces around five fruits on compact semi-bush-type vines, making it ideal for small spaces and a good keeper.
It is very versatile and has a great taste. It is ideal as a roast or steamed vegetable. Use in pumpkin in pies, roasts, or soups.
Adaptable to most good garden soils but prefers rich soil with a generous amount of water in full sun.
Pumpkins are a warm-season plant.
